Interactive environment system

With the VR4MAX environment system you enrich the scene with realistic weather effects for both the sky and the sea. Vary the conditions from a light summer day to a bitter winter storm. The physics engine will react to these weather conditions, lifted payloads will sway in the wind and floating bodies will follow the current.

High-fidelity in rendering & physics

When realism and immersion are key, a high-fidelity simulation is critical for success. VR4MAX achieves both with high level graphics performance and integrated AGX Dynamics for world class physics behavior. It allows you to create natural environments that physically interact with every component in it.

Scalable hardware setup

VR4MAX runs on a single PC or laptop or can be scaled up to a hardware in the loop server-client configuration. This way simulator applications can be tailored for any situation, from a mobile ‘field support’ laptop to a multi-view training simulator in an academy.

Flexibility to add your own modules

VR4MAX supports LUA script for maximum flexibility. With LUA modules you create specific functionalities for your simulator. The structured approach of the VR4MAX simulator framework makes it easy to add or remove modules to the simulator. This way it is efficient to edit an existing scene or reuse the building blocks when creating a new simulator.

Case study –
Building a digital twin

SRI simulator for Jan De Nul Group
The simulator is designed for interactive training of SRI operators in the most realistic conditions. It provides training facilities for a wide range of operators and skills including the Fall Pipe operator, Surveyor, Operations’ superintendent and the Ship’s electrician. All the corresponding monitoring and control functions are operated from dedicated consoles equal to the ones on board. To this end Tree C sourced the equipment from the same original manufacturers, Ingeteam (ES) and Seatools (NL).
