Maintenance

Maintenance planeIn cooperation with several educational institutes and industry partners Tree C develops training simulators for maintenance and process technology education. In these areas training with real equipment is often too dangerous, too expensive or simply not available. Training in virtual reality is a good, safe and budget friendly alternative.

State of the art VR technology is combined with the technical and educational expertise of the teachers. This results in highly realistic training situations where the educational value is always the primary objective. Teachers can control the training and testing environment and intelligent agents assist the teachers by explaining operations and guiding the students.
Students can be fully immersed in the VR environment, wearing head mounted displays or in a CAVE, and they can practice with the same environment on their desktop PC. For students VR training is much more fun than learning from a book, leading to better training results and the best preparation possible for ‘the real thing’.
