Rerouting of both the N35 interstate and the parallel running railway meant a large impact on the City of Nijverdal in the east of The Netherlands.
A 3D interactive model that grew with the project helped both the engineers, architects and communication staff to get this project approved by the residents, saving the government important time, by needing less hearings, and money because of lesser compensations and buy-offs.

The governmental agencies were applauded by the public for a clear and realistic communication on this project with great impact on the environment.
