This dual crane simulator is unique in its ability to train two crane operators to coordinate their actions using the two, vessel mounted, 900 ton cranes at the same time. The VR4MAX based simulator uses head mounted stereographic displays with integrated head tracking for a maximum immersive experience. 

The crane operators are able to work in a team, including a banks man and their captain, responsible for ballasting. Real time stability calculations are performed based on Kahn Offshore’s proprietary stability program. 

The simulator will also be used to determine best practice working methods for commercial operations, and for generating multi media files for documenting proposals.
